I'd like to welcome you to the Fall, 2011 session of the original credit program at Montana Digital Academy!
My name is Jason Neiffer and I am the Curriculum Director of MTDA. Other than your teacher, I am the first point of contact if you have problems with or questions about our program. I am located at the University of Montana in Missoula, however, you will most likely talk to me through online channels. I have a couple of announcements now, and would also like to share my contact information in case you run into problems during the semester.
Usernames and Passwords
Username and passwords are sent out immediately after your counselor or site facilitator registers you. If you are certain that your site facilitator has registered you or if you have received a class enrollment notification and no username and password, please contact your site facilitator or Rayleen at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 406-243-4619 as soon as possible so we can help you get logged in. Fall 2011 Start The Fall 2011 semester will start on Tuesday, September 6th. Classrooms will be open no later than 8am on that day. After logging in, you can get to the courses by clicking on the course name on your GeniusSIS dashboard.
Live Orientation
MTDA will offer an optional live orientation program to help introduce you to online learning and various tools we use. The sessions will be at five times:
- Wednesday, August 31st, 4pm
- Friday, September 2nd, 3pm
- Monday, September 5th, 7pm
- Thursday, September 8th, 8pm
- Saturday, September 10th, 11am
Pre-registration is required by clicking here. The sessions are free, and will last no longer than one hour. I will be the facilitator and we will happily answer all of your questions. Your parents or other adults helping you are, of course, welcome to attend! In the mean time, if you have questions, please don't be afraid to ask! We are here to help you succeed and learn online!
