Site Facilitator Grade Access
Greetings Montana Digital Academy site facilitators!
We are getting questions related to checking progress on students related to grades and the like. We wanted to share with you some notes on this process.
MTDA does not issue midquarter, midterm or quarter grades. We only issue semester grades. If you require a interim grade of any kind, you are welcome to take a current grade using one of the methods below, but, please do not contact our instructors asking for midterm grades because we do not issue them. The only official grade we will issue is a semester grade in January.
For the vast majority of our courses, you have access to current grades in GeniusSIS. To get those grades, click on the STUDENT tab, then the students name. You can see a current grade on the student status screen, or, click on GRADEBOOK to see details. If you have questions about a specific grade, please feel free to contact an instructor directly.
There are two exceptions to that:
- MTDA Connect credit recovery courses: Site facilitators can run progress reports for credit recovery students on the administrative backend of PLE. Please contact Ryan Schrenk ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for details and instructions.
- World Language (Latin, Spanish, French and German) students: Site facilitators should have their students run reports for them, print, and then turn them in. Instructions for doing do are here: link.
We hope to have a more elegant solution for World Language very soon.
